Tesla CyberTruck With Rooftop Tent or 5th Wheel ?

On November 21st, Tesla revealed its newest invention - the long-awaited electric pickup truck "Cybertruck" ! And it looks nothing like any pickup truck you've ever seen !

Elon Musk stood on stage and declared this to be the truck that Tesla is offering, and the one you can put a deposit down on now to buy. A $100 fully refundable deposit gets your name on the list for the late-2021 or early-2022 production for the top-of-the-line model.

There will be three basic configurations of the Tesla Cybertruck. The base single-motor RWD version will start at $39,900 and get you 250-plus-mile range, a towing capacity of over 7,500 pounds, and a sub-6.5-second 0-60mph time.

The midrange, dual-motor AWD Cybertruck will start at $49,900 and get you 300-plus-mile range, 10,000-plus-pound towing, and a sub-4.5-second 0-60mph time.

And the top-of-the-line Tesla Cybertruck will start at $69,900, offer over 500 miles of range, 14,000-plus pounds of towing capacity, and go 0-60 mph in under 2.9 seconds.

I'm not sure if it's worth the money...

BUT...

Maybe if Tesla CyberTrcuk comes with a rooftop tent, and a slide-out kitchen it will sweeten the deal  🤔 ?

Or would you rather use your  CyberTrcuk to tow an RV or a 5th wheel ?
A U.K. YouTuber unveiled a rendering for a Tesla pull-behind camper designed specifically for the Cybertruck. And it looks as wild as the truck itself.
“I’ve got some exciting news: I’ve just bought a Cybertruck from Tesla,” MotorHomeMan said on his latest video. “I had this lightbulb moment — maybe I could use this as a motorhome or a truck to tow an RV or a fifth-wheel.”

According to the electric-power news site Electrek, Tesla founder Elon Musk teased a “sick attachment for the Cybertruck,” further fueling speculation around a potential pull-behind. Plus, the brand touted the Cybertruck’s more than 14,000-pound towing capacity at its launch event last month.

Musk already confirmed that Tesla Cybertruck will be offered with a solar roof option to add some solar-powered range to the electric pickup truck.

With a trailer adding a lot of roof surfaces, you could add a much more powerful solar system and trickle charge the battery pack of the Cybertruck in order to compensate for some of the efficiency loss that comes with a trailer.

Tesla could design its own trailer with solar and even an extra battery pack to match the Cybertruck’s design, but if they don’t, the market will take care of it.

Is this the future of RV/travel trailers 🤔 ?
